The works comprised re-roofing the Officers Mess Building. The building is listed and of special historic interest as it formed part of the original barracks. Major timber and structural repairs were carried out with new work precisely matching that of the existing in both detail and technique.
The roofs were re-laid using natural Glendynne Slate and fibre cement slates with new lead detailing and head coverings to dormers and weather vane turret.
